The Glove Factory is a gallery and workshops space owned by Sandy Brown, a ceramicist of international acclaim and founder of the Appledore Arts Festival.

Appledore Arts has a long established relationship with the University College of Falmouth. At previous Festivals, undergraduate and postgraduate students have created some amazing and fun work with visitors including a Giant Man Eating Plant, a Fiery Festival Dragon and also a Fire & Fury Feast on one of Appledore’s beaches. Appledore Arts was very pleased to develop this relationship by creating an opportunity to show case some of their best new designers and makers.

The Festival gave their students and alumni an invaluable opportunity to launch themselves into the world of craft and design. Following in the footsteps of many distinguished predecessors, the selected artists relished the opportunity to show in the Glove Factory one of the areas leading exhibition venues.
